Do it imperfectly

Do it imperfectly

Ever since I started building this portfolio website, I’ve been obsessed with getting everything perfect. I kept asking myself which projects deserve to be showcased and which ones should be left out. I wanted the site to look flawless before I shared it with the world.

But the truth is, it’s not perfect. The status bar that’s supposed to show my proficiency is still off. The design isn’t final. There are tweaks I still want to make before launching. These were all the things holding me back; the fear of being seen in progress.

Perfection became a delay tactic. I realised that if I waited for everything to be flawless, I’d never start. Being imperfect means there’s no big brand to hide behind, no polished image to protect, just me, my story, and my work, exactly as they are right now.

This website, in all its incompleteness, is a commitment to growth. Every project, every page, is a promise to keep improving.

Because doing it imperfectly is always better than not doing it at all.
