Ground Zer0

Ground Zer0

For the past three years, I’ve been in a space that, while rewarding in many ways, felt like it restricted my creative growth. Instead of pouring myself into the kinds of artistic and experimental projects that fuel my imagination, I found myself sharpening a different set of skills, the corporate kind.

During this period, I had the opportunity to work closely with a highly successful entrepreneur. Learning from someone with such vision and drive pushed me to think differently about business, structure, and strategy. I became more disciplined, more results-focused, and more comfortable navigating the corporate side of things. In many ways, it was like being in a crash course on entrepreneurship, one that gave me lessons I’ll carry forever.

But it wasn’t without its challenges. The long hours, the constant pressure, and the sheer demands of the role left me with little time (and sometimes even less energy) to explore the creative projects I’ve always wanted to pursue. I often felt torn between the structured world I was learning so much from and the artistic one that has always been my true calling.

That tension is what inspired the title of this series: Ground Zer0. For me, this marks a reset point, a place where I can pause, take stock of what I’ve learned, and start rebuilding the creative path I’ve been craving. Chapter 1 is about acknowledging where I’ve been: the grind, the growth, the lessons, and yes, even the stress.

From here, I’m setting out to create a space where my creativity can finally breathe again, while still carrying forward the discipline and insights I’ve gained. This is the beginning of a new chapter, and I’m calling it Ground Zer0 because it feels like starting fresh, with stronger foundations than ever before.
